Nouhad Wadi Haddad (Arabic: نهاد حداد‎) (born November 21, 1935), famously known as Fairuz (Arabic: فيروز‎, also spelled Fairouz or Fayrouz) is a Lebanese singer who is widely considered to be the most famous living singer in the Arab world and one of the best known of all time. Very good World Pop from the 60s and 70s!

Recommended - Oleg Tumanov is not merely a composer, he is an accomplished melodist with interests in many modern music styles. But no matter in what style he writes all of his songs and tunes have memorable melodies…

Just so you know, Danish band Under Byen has three MP3s for downloads on their site.

Under Byen (Danish for "Below the City") is known for producing their own unorthodox interpretation of rock. They rarely use guitars. Instead their soundscape is dominated by piano, cello, violin, electrically-distorted saw, organ, drums and percussion. A somewhat different vein of rock (or pop) spiced up with jazzy, folky and classical elements. An important part of the music are also the poetic Danish lyrics which are presented to the listener by female vocals.

Download at their site.

Hello! I'm on the hunt for a song called Lola, by French band Superbus. My girlfriend played it for me on YouTube, and I've been dying to listen to it again ever since, but I've had trouble finding an mp3. Any help would be much appreciated!

Also, I believe the community needs a France tag =D

Hi there! First time poster here! I'm hoping you delightful audiophiles will be able to help a girl out.

A year ago, I studied abroad in Florence and absolutely fell in love with a musician called Teri Moïse, particularly her album Les Poèmes de Michelle. But try as I might, I can't find a decent copy of it anywhere. The entire album, I mean, not just the title track and  Je Serai Là.  I'm going crazy wanting those songs so much, so if anyone can hook me up or point me in the right direction, I'd be so eternally grateful.
